We will be using this blog as a class to enhance our unit over Australia. In this blog students will be able to find links to websites as well as links to other blogs that are full of information that will help them along the way during this unit. As we cover Australia we will focus on multiple aspects of the continent such as the political geography, physical geography, culture, population, climate, history, government and a variety of other things. While this blog will not focus on all of these aspects it will focus on a few of them and give the students access to information that would not be possible to find in the textbook or the classroom. As part of their grade for this unit students will be required to join the class blog and join in on the discussion on certain topics, to make sure that all students have an equal opportunity to participate the class will be provided lab time at various points throughout this unit to give them opportunities to join and participate in the class discussion. Students will receive a hard copy of the assignments that will be required of them as part of this class blog at the appropriate time which will outline in detail what they must do such as joining the class blog and what they will be required to research and and discuss on the class blog. These assignments will also be posted to the class blog as well at the appropriate time.
